Job Description

Looking to take your adminstrative career to the next step? Our client is seeking an Administrative Assistant to carry out clerical office duties, primarily document managment and scanning, for a long term contract placement.

Job Overview:

This is not your typical administrative position. Rather, it's a combination of clerical duties, managing and organizing documents, and scanning them for company records. The team is looking for someone with a strong work ethic who takes initiative. 

This position is committed to providing excellent service to the Land and Commercial Services Team by providing quality scanned documents for Marathon’s records for all domestic assets and also assisting in File Room responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Land and Title & Contract documents in File Room
  • Scan Documents for workflow or filing
  • Research documents within physical files to determine status and proper filing
  • Retrieve and deliver files
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Participate in File Room projects as needed
  • Other projects as needed on an ongoing basis

Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma
  • Computer skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
    • Tobin Land Suite or Quorum Land System, and SAP preferred
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at one time is required
  • Must possess strong teamwork, organizational, and verbal communication skills
  • Previous work experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred
