The DATA SUPPORT SPECIALIST is responsible for completing data entry and ensuring compliance with funder and programmatic requirements.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data Entry: Enter Member and Direct Service Data into database software and check to ensure the accuracy of the data that has been inputted.
Database Support: Create and maintain User Manual content. Build reports and dashboard inclusive of a variety of metrics. Recommend data collection enhancements to enhance information collection and improve overall efficiency of data collection, entry and reporting functions.
Quality Assurance: Completes scheduled quality review of Counseling, Case Management and Advocacy Client files to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and funder requirements. Address data inconsistencies by working with staff to locate missing data. Works with Department teams to develop and implement quality assurance processes to identify and resolve data quality and integrity issues. Consults with team leaders to support adherence to quality assurance processes and recommends corrective action as needed.
General Support: Active participation in office management, including general clerical tasks. Attend and participate in departmental, organization-wide and other meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of 2 years' experience handling data entry responsibilities or equivalent experience in a related field. Strong typing skills, and attention to detail and organizational and time management skills required. Experience working with Microsoft Office. Ability to effectively work within record software and to enter and update files accurately. Strong written and communication skills and the ability to collaborate with staff members to resolve quality and data entry errors. Demonstrated capacity to work on multiple assignments and achieve objectives and deadlines. Familiarity with and experience maintaining a professional level of privacy in accordance with Rape Crisis Privilege, HIPAA and/or other relevant privacy regulations. Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge and familiarity with INFONET and Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) databases helpful.
Professional Training Required: Complete the ICASA forty-hour sexual assault crisis intervention training within thirty days of employment start date (if not completed within the prior two years).
EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday (8:30am-5pm). Some occasional evening/weekend hours required. Schedule can vary depending on the needs of the agency. This position is office based.
Pay Range: $43,000-$45,000
