Hospitalist Advanced Practice Clinician in St. Peters, MO

TeamHealth St. Peters, MO (Onsite) Full-Time
TeamHealth is seeking a dedicated and experienced physician assistant (PA) or nurse practitioner (NP) to join our hospital medicine (HM) team at Barnes Jewish St. Peters Hospital. This is a full-time, night shift position (7PM to 7AM) on a 7-on/7-off schedule, offering an excellent opportunity to join an established team of skilled physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs). We require a minimum of 2 years of inpatient or HM experience.

  • Schedule: full-time, 7-on/7-off, night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
  • Facility: 113-bed community hospital
  • EMR System: Epic
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patient admissions from the emergency department (ED) and handle floor calls for already admitted patients
  • Evaluate, assess, and develop treatment plans for patients in the hospital
  • Provide collaborative care with physicians and the healthcare team
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic EMR system
  • Average of 7-10 admissions per shift
Compensation
  • Estimated annual salary range: $141,120 - $171,360
  • Paid overtime 
  • Night differential 
  • Shift incentives
  • Quarterly quality bonus opportunities
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of inpatient medicine (IM) or hospital medicine experience required
  • Current certification and licensure as a PA or NP
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically Epic
  • Ability to work a 7-on/7-off schedule, nights from 7pm-7am
