Program Manager / OR Level III with Security Clearance
The Headquarters of the United States Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategy, Integration and Requirements is responsible for analytic decision support to senior Air Force leaders; strategy development; operational concept development; operational challenge studies; operational/regional politico-military analysis; developing capability assessments; war and mobility planning support; requirements development; conducting net assessments; and Air Force Planning and Programming decision support of developing the Air Force of the future
Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) are required to support analysis across all phases of Air Force design to support the strategic planning and programming process: strategy development, force design, concept formulation; threat assessment, exercises, modeling and simulation and continuous feedback loops
What you will do...
• This effort is to perform studies and conduct analyses in support of enterprise-wide capability analysis and experimentation campaigns in response to Air Force needs identified by the CSAF and SecAF through Capability Development Council and Air Force Futures.
• Rapidly develops, evaluates, and assess strategic and technology solutions across the DOTmLPF-P spectrum to produce various types of deliverables that will inform senior leaders and support capability development decisions.
• Formulate/define research and development scope and objectives for assigned projects.
• Devises or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering Defense systems capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
• Prepare detailed specifications from which research programs will be written
Responsible for program design, testing, and documentation.
• Has full technical knowledge of all phases of research application analysis and programming.
• Has good understanding of research analysis techniques and ability to apply them
Skills you will need...
• 5 years research experience and a familiarity with US Government or Department of Defense
• Bachelor's degree
• Clearance Required: This position requires a TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility
