Accounting Manager - Cash Flow & Operations

Cash Flow & Operations (CF&O) is thrilled to present an opportunity for a seasoned professional to be our next Accounting Manager
Serving as the subject matter expert for our client base, you will develop and foster strong relationships, drive impactful discussions for process improvements and implementations, and provide strategic insight for service enhancements
At CF&O, our team is not just crunching numbers, we dive deep into the trenches with the business owners to fully understand their specific needs, solve problems, and provide customized services

CF&O is a Client Accounting Service (CAS) Firm with an objective to help improve corporations' Cash Flow & Operations by offering customized outsourced services in three principal areas: accounting, taxes, and management advisory
Founded in 2010, we have and continue to provide exceptional service to small and medium-sized businesses in Colorado Springs and beyond helping each client reach their maximum potential

As our Accounting Manager youwill work closely with our CF&O leadership team and partner with our client base as outlined below:

Internal Firm Responsibilities:
  • Report directly to the CEO, oversee all financial affairs, and play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our financial operations
  • Provide monthly billing for all payroll clients including follow-up statements and AR receipts
  • Review quarterly and annual payroll related filing and reports for Payroll Specialist and Bookkeeping Account Supervisors (Leads)

Client Service Responsibilities:
  • Manage Payroll Specialist and Closing Agent's day to day activities
  • Provide support and leadership to CF&O team, coordinate daily with Leads
  • Review all Closing Agent's client closed financials; supply Leads with final documents and send to clients
  • Assist in engagement renewals and client profitability through on time investment and core services analysis
  • Prepare annual budgets for all clients and review with leadership team
  • Stay abreast of new and changing regulations as it relates to payroll, payroll taxes and current accounting/bookkeeping trends; formally communicate to clients and CF&O leadership

Our ideal Accounting Manager candidate will have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years diverse accounting experience with ability to train others
  • Deep understanding of accounting/taxes/payroll concepts, practices, procedures, and GAAP principals
  • CPA Licensure - active or lapsed
  • Technical expertise - working knowledge of Microsoft Office and QuickBooks; ability to recommend and implement new software
  • Professional, engaging, and genuine interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills (listening, verbal and written)
  • Ability to deliver accurate and thorough client results in a timely, consistent, and professional manner
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to calculate figures and amounts and interpret a variety of instructions
