Working with a stable government contracting company, specializing in Strategic IT Professional Services. We are actively seeking a skilled, experienced Proposal Manager who is comfortable with Proposal Writer responsibilities. The Proposal Manager will be expected to support business development and proposal efforts for all subsidiaries within the parent company. The ideal candidate will also be considered as the sole Proposal Writer for the company. This includes, but is not limited, composing informative documents to help each company secure business; outlining the services specifically offered with each proposal, writing original content; translating research, past performance, formal and informal guidance and other organizational information into a compelling narrative; editing documents; and working with other writers as well as graphic artists, if needed, to design proposals. The ideal candidate will have expert writing skills and previous experience supporting bid responses to government solicitations. Responsibilities include: -Reviewing, analyzing, assessing, and summarizing solicitation requirements to determine proposal concepts by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs, constructing or contributing to compliance matrices, studying requests for proposal (RFPs), and attending related strategy meetings -Preparing compelling response materials for Presentations, Requests For Information (RFIs), Invitations to Bid (ITBs), Requests For Quotations (RFQs), Requests For Proposals (RFPs), and other written materials used for internal and external purposes -Conceptualizing, writing, revising, reviewing, and editing documents from inception to final delivery that highlight company core capabilities and technical advantages, such as executive summaries, past performance, capabilities descriptions, and management/project plans, as assigned by Proposal Manager -Producing content for graphics, diagrams, and illustrations for proposal material -Maintaining quality results by using and expanding on templates, following proposal-writing standards for readability, consistency, and tone

Job Requirements
