LKQ Corporation is the leading provider of alternative and specialty parts to repair and accessorize automobiles and other vehicles. At LKQ Bellingham we specialize in the remanufacturing of automotive engines. This position assembles automotive gasoline engine pistons and connecting rods. All training is provided, no prior experience needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Use a computer to access specific work instructions for the task at hand.
Collect completed connecting rods and match each set to a specific set of pistons.
Assemble the piston and rod paying attention to orientation.
Wash and dry the assembled piston and rod set.
Deliver the competed set to the correct engine.

Move up to 50lbs
Repeatedly stand, squat, bend, and lift for long periods of time
Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
Able to work as part of a team as well as independently
Basic communication skills
Basic math skills
Strong attention to detail
Able to work weekdays 6:00am-2:30pm with weekends and overtime as required
