A well-renowned company has an urgent opening in Seattle, WA for a Lead Heavy Equipment Mechanic.

The successful technician for the role will be diagnosing, repairing and performing maintenance on Heavy Equipment and leading a team.

The majority of equipment that the mechanic will work on is Caterpillar, and experience with such is an asset. The ideal mechanic is experienced working on diesel engines, along with a background in braking systems and hydraulics. Technicians are expected to have driveline knowledge and experience with steering mechanisms and suspensions. Additional duties for the role are welding, cutting, and fabricating.  Those with previous Leadership experience will get preference.

 The successful mechanic is required to undergo thorough background record checks.

Compensation:  $28.00 - $42.00/hour. Starting wage range is flexible and based on previous experience and training. Comprehensive benefits available including health, dental, life insurance, 401K and much more! Relocation support offered on a case by case basis.

Shift:  Day Shift, (Monday - Friday). Flexible start times available. On-Call Weekends based on operational needs. Overtime is available and offered after 40 hours/week.
