RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client seeking an Administrative Support position in Troy, Michigan (MI). This person will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Commissions department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing administrative support to 2 Commissions Specialists and 1 Commissions Manager
- Answer the department's mainline; act as "Gatekeeper" to screen phone calls
- Take messages, transfer calls to appropriate party, respond to general customer service inquiries
- Manage the department's general email inbox
- Assist with various accounting and reconciling related duties
- Heavily utilize Microsoft Excel to compile various report
- Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's Degree is a plus
- At least 2 years of experience in one, or more, of the following fields: Accounting, Commissions, Bookkeeping, Reconciliations
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel; Must be able to create spreadsheets, manipulate columns and cells, and apply basic formulas and functions
- Strong customer service skills; Must be very 'resolution oriented' - if they are unable to assist with a particular customer's request, they must be able to point the customer in the right direction to obtain a resolution
- High attention to detail
