COVID-19 Screening Technician Summary:
The COVID-19 Screening Technician will work on-site to perform temperature screenings as employees, guest and or customers enter the workplace or business. The Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA will work with Social Compliance Officers and/or security officers to ensure established procedures and protocols for access control assessments of employees, visitors, and/or customers at entry points are followed. The Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA Screening Technician will maintain compliance and ensure that life safety and health requirements are being met. The Technician must be a credentialed Certified Nursing Assistant, well-versed in health screening concepts, customer service, and best practices for social distancing procedures. The Technician will maintain awareness of CDC guidance and changes in their recommendations and share this information with the appropriate Metro One Management. COVID-19 Screening Technician - CNA Responsibilities:

• Conduct temperature screening in compliance with client’s site access procedure
• Assist in following CDC Guidelines of Social Distancing
• Conduct Safety Checks - Ability to follow established safety policy and procedures and identifies and corrects conditions that affect safety in the workplace.
• Utilize antiseptic material to wipe down work services and high volume touch points.
• COVID-19 Screening Technicians will be provided with the required personal protective equipment to conduct temperature screening and training on the screening process; experience in healthcare settings is helpful but not required.
• Follow all requirements related to personal protective equipment, cleaning and distancing
• Manage Access Control Monitoring as needed.
• Enforce occupancy restrictions and guidelines as needed
• Maintain social distancing as needed
• Conduct Temperature Screening according to client policies and procedures
• Report/communicate temperature results as needed and or required
• Initiate appropriate protocols and notifications when flu symptoms, especially fever are discovered
• Escalation of issues and or incidents to supervisor/client management.
• Maintain required certifications, licensing and training to achieve professional competency as appropriate for the position
• Provide assistance to customers, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

COVID-19 Screening Technician - CNA Qualifications:

• Must possess a State Certified CNA
• Must have CPR/AED/FA certification
• Ability to take vital signs, including body temperatures
• Healthcare experience
• Meaningful and verifiable work history
• Experience with customer interactions
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Active listening skills
• Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
• Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
• Attention to detail
• We will assist in getting candidates Security License
• Military experience a plus
• Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process and continuously meet any applicable state, county and municipal requirements.
• Prefer prior experience in any of the following is ideal: RN, LPN, Nursing Assistant, EMT, Phlebotomist, Surgical/Ultrasound Technician, etc.
• Ability to communicate with directors and Registered Nurses
