News Production Assistant (PT)

 KSNV has an exciting opportunity for a part-time News Production Assistant!

Job responsibilities include:

• Editing video for weekend morning news coverage which includes but not limited to video in house as well as video from various news organizations


• Collaborating with anchors, reporters, and producers on video elements of newscasts


• Help capture live interviews in house with anchors, reporters during the morning newscasts during the week


• Meeting daily deadlines in a high-energy working environment
   

Requirements and Qualifications:

• College degree or minimum relative experience in the field


• Knowledge of nonlinear editing technology, Avid Media Composer editing is a definite plus


• Knowledge of basic camera operations, experience with ENG Camera's a plus


• Ability to work with a multitude of people and personalities while maintaining a professional work environment
