In the role of an Analyst you'll be mainly responsible for the auditing, analysis, and clean up of the blocked invoices report.
*You will also have direct and frequent interaction with outside suppliers to send Requests For Quotations and obtain quotations, gather material, lead time & commercial data, reconcile invoice errors, and prepare a wide variety of purchasing related documents.
*Ensure the accuracy and validity of purchasing related data and to facilitate the maintenance and up-keep of Purchasing Master Data through coordinated efforts across the buyers, planers, IT, Materials and Global Procurement communities.
*Make SAP changes to maintain Material Master data integrity, Product Information Records, buyer code accuracy and reconcile Product Information Records and Material Master data
The work will require daily communication with both Buyers and A/P associates via phone and email. You will work with the Buyers to gather the documents needed to ensure the files on hand match the information listed on the purchase orders. Once the information matches up, you will circle back with A/P to ensure credit and/or debit memos are getting posted for transaction.
The reports you'll be using are pulled out of SAP, and then loaded into an Excel template. Each week there's a review to see what invoices have been cleared, what invoices are still outstanding and need further action / follow up, and what new invoices have been flagged as blocked.
Qualifications: - Associate or Bachelors Degree in the Business field (Economics, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain); OR 6+ months of experience in an analytical role with an Associate or Bachelor's Degree
- The following knowledge in Excel: how a VLOOKUP works and how a pivot table functions (templates are created, however, you need to know how to fix them at times)
SAP/ERP experience, preferred
