Job Description

Judge Direct Placement is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a Large Manufacturing company near Fontana, CA. The qualified candidate will have hands-on Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering experience in an Industrial Manufacturing environment.


Support of process analysis and troubleshooting, continuous improvement projects as needed

Provide functional leadership and creativity in the initiation, design, development and optimization of paper converting and manufacturing equipment and processes to meet objectives and deadlines

Responsible for engineering principles, scientific analysis, and project management.

Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies and guidelines

Seek, recognize, and define opportunities to achieve production objectives.

Identify complex technical issues to determine root cause.

Explore, initiate, design, optimize and develop manufacturing and supporting processes

Ability to effectively interact with machine operators, production/maintenance crews, engineering team and upper management.

Provide for the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance and other personnel.


B.S. Degree in Engineering (Preferred) or A.S. Degree (Technical)/Military experience

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Consumer Goods Manufacturing environment

(Paper Goods, Paper Converting, Paper-based packaging, Non-woven fabrics, Household products, etc.)

Experience programming, calibrating, operating, and maintaining manufacturing equipment

Knowledge of Lean tools including VSMs, SMED, Kaizens, etc. Experience reading and interpreting CFIs. Experience with AutoCAD.

Must speak English fluently (read & write)

Bilingual (Spanish) HUGE plus!!
