The Software Development Engineer will be responsible for planning and executing software development engineering tasks, including project management, software design, software/hardware integration, and internal/external customer technical support. This position also will be responsible for designing components of high-power hardware systems, as well as testing the equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Designing a component of the hardware systems.
- Supporting the manufacturing area and working alongside Electrical Engineers.
- Adding features to existing products once they get more knowledge
- Prototyping and adding features or a duplicate of the same products.
- Working with customers to resolve any technical issues. It is not a tech support role, but there can be 1-20 calls a week.
- Will not be doing all new designing right off the bat, and a lot of designs are already in existence.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Software Development with C Language, C++, Assembly, SQL/Database programming, HTML and XML basics, DSP (TI), and TCP/IP technical knowledge is required.
- Experience with testing equipment/hardware.
- Experience with support/customer service.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent experience. An MBA is a strong plus.
