Our client, an established Venture Capital firm seeks to hire an Administrative Assistant for its Midtown Manhattan offices. This position will support a Partner and his team with all administrative tasks including phone coverage, calendar management in Outlook, scheduling meetings and conference calls, arranging travel, preparing call notes and research, processing expenses using Concur, assisting with general document creation, registering guests in visitor security, light personal work and other ad-hoc projects as they arise. In addition, the Administrative Assistant will work closely with the Office Manager to ensure the office in kept tidy and well stocked. This will include ordering supplies, maintaining inventory and restocking, ensuring the office equipment is fully functional, distributing mail, receiving phone calls, greeting visitors and welcoming them to the office, pantry restocking, loading/unloading dishwasher, lunch clean-up, and placing daily lunch orders. This hybrid role prefers a candidate with a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 3 years of administrative experience, strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to juggle multiple priorities at one, flexible mentality, strong attention to details and exceptional communication skills. Advanced Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm with flexibility for OT as it arises. In addition, this person should be comfortable checking emails and responding to emergencies after hours. Salary is up to 80K plus bonus and paid overtime.
