Senior Finance Manager – Used Truck Organization

Navistar has an attractive opportunity for a talented finance manager to partner with the leaders of our Used Truck Organization. We seek an out-of-the-box thinker who collaboratively supports operations and confidently drives improved business results, while ensuring proper accounting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Financial modelling to support thoughtful target setting and decision making
  • Develop financial & operational reporting (strategic plan, annual operating plan, monthly forecast)
    • Sales, Receipts, Inventory, Revenue, Cost and Margins
    • By Product & by channel
  • Analyze business data
    • Explain variances to targets
    • Pro-actively identify trends, generate insights & develop actionable recommendations for improvement
  • Develop meaningful reporting and presentations for leadership
  • Oversees accounting under guidance of Navistar’s controller’s staff: performs month end close for UTO including related analytics & controls
  • Develop, implement and maintain best practice finance tools and processes
  • Lead a team of 23 employees


Position Purpose

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 6 years of finance and budgeting experience
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience

OR

  • Master’s degree
  • At least 5 years of finance and budgeting experience
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience

OR

  • At least 10 years of finance and budgeting experience
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience



Additional Requirements

  • Operations finance partnering experience
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) a plus
  • Experience with management reporting, including systems
  • Leadership experience
  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
