Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner job in Burns at Mirror Lake Recovery Center

Participates in the formulation of patient's Master Treatment Plan.

Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team.

Assesses physical and psychiatric health of patient and formulate measures to meet patient’s needs.

Provides direct patient care.

Charts clinical observation (direct or through dictation), evaluations and treatment of patients in required time according to facility guidelines.

Communicates with physicians and other staff as necessary to provide quality care for patients within appropriate guidelines.

Provides on call responsibilities on scheduled basis directed by medical staff.

Makes recommendations, writes and dictates orders, and prescribes appropriate treatment.

Maximizes opportunities for quality care.

Contributes to and participates in Performance Improvement.

Maintains appropriate safe physical management skill requirements.

Documentation reflects nursing process, including individualized education and discharge planning needs of patient and family. Develops an individualized treatment plan with measurable goals that reflects understanding of treatment process.

Encourages family involvement in patients care. Responds to identified patient and family educational needs.

 Supports and follows legal requirements, hospital policy and procedures, medical staff bylaws and regulatory requirements.

Provides services that are in accordance with the state guidelines for Nurse Practitioners.

May focus on health promotion and disease prevention. May order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays. May prescribe medication.
