Compensation: $130,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year

Director of Accounting To $140,000 plus bonus and equity My client is a $300+ million publicly traded global manufacturing group looking to hire a new Director of Accounting to lead a team of five (5) staff responsible for monthly closing and reporting process. You will support the Controller covering the following:- Ownership of the month end close, financial statement and general ledger . Manage daily accounting operation process. Preparation of the cash flow statement and supporting scheduled for external reporting. Manage the monthly balance sheet and income statement review. Develop monthly and quarterly financial reports for leadership review . Implement / maintain internal controls related to the SOX compliance. Participate in the annual audit and quarterly reviews, including the support of financial statements and footnotes. Liaison with external independent auditors and provide supporting schedules. Partnering with Technical Accounting Team, identifies and resolves accounting issues. Job Requirements

To be considered for this high profile Director level opportunity with a publicly traded company, you should ideally possess a BS degree in Accounting, CPA and a public / private background. Detailed knowledge of US GAAP, working knowledge of IFRS, exposure to ASC 606 Revenue Recognition and ASC 842 Leases. Solid IT skills to include Excel (Pivot tables, V H look ups, Microsoft Dynamics.
