This position requires a current Florida CNA or EMT License as well as a current AHA BLS certification.

The Critical Care Tech is responsible for assisting with the implementation of supportive patient care under the direction of an RN. This includes demonstrating competency in strong basic patient care skills, basic arrhythmia knowledge, clerical/courier duties, stocking, transporting, and performing EKG’s, specific patient care duties and other department duties as requested.  Primarily works Critical Care Setting but may be floated as needed. Actively demonstrates a passion for patient care while demonstrating service recovery if needed.   Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

High school education or GED/equivalent

Current BLS certification.      

Successful completion of basic arrhythmia (i.e. ECCO training module) and monitor tech class within initial 30 days.

Experience required SNAP,CNA, or EMT

Certification:  Current Florida EMT or CNA
