**Multiple Positions Available**\u00A0


Configures and maintains networks and system infrastructure for Cloud ready application builds, packaging, scans, and deployment. Develops and troubleshoots Continuous Testing (CT) pipelines for testing teams, using Concourse, Jenkins, and Selenium. Design and implement Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD), and DevOps practices to institutional technology applications, using enterprise Application Lifecycle Management tools -- Atlassian Bitbucket, IBM Rational Team Concert, Cloudbees Jenkins, Concourse, Artifactory, uDeploy, Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, and native Cloud services.\u00A0 Uses business knowledge to translate the vision for divisional initiatives into business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications and conducting studies of alternatives. Analyzes and recommends changes in project development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to development experts and management.\u00A0


Primary Responsibilities:\u00A0


  • Participates in architecture design teams.\u00A0

  • Defines and implements application level architecture.\u00A0

  • Develops applications on complex projects, components, and subsystems for the division.\u00A0

  • Recommends development testing tools and methodologies and reviews and validates test plans.\u00A0

  • Responsible for QA readiness of software deliverables.\u00A0

  • Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications or subsystems.\u00A0

  • Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.\u00A0

  • Responsible for meeting project goals on-time and on-budget.\u00A0

  • Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies for projects.\u00A0

  • Plans and coordinates project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.\u00A0

  • Acts as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various project/technology issues.\u00A0

  • Provides technology solutions to daily issues and technical evaluation estimates on technology initiatives.\u00A0

  • Advises senior management on technical strategy.\u00A0

  • Mentors junior team members.\u00A0

  • Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.\u00A0\u00A0

  • Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.\u00A0


Education and Experience:\u00A0


Bachelor s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years performing build and release engineering.\u00A0


Or, alternatively, Master s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years performing build and release engineering.\u00A0


Skills and Knowledge:\u00A0


Candidate must also possess:\u00A0


  • Demonstrated Expertise (\u201CDE\u201D) performing automated provisioning, using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure Cloud services; orchestrating and designing Cloud services to host Web applications and automate their build and deployment processes, using AWS Cloud formation, Terraform, Route 53, and AWS auto scaling; deploying Microsoft Azure Virtual Networks, VPNs, ExpressRoutes, Traffic Managers, and Load Balancers; and managing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and fractional share websites and applications.\u00A0

  • DE performing infrastructure automation and development, using configuration management and containerization technologies Ansible, Hashicorp vault, Helm, Spire, and Docker -- for multi-tier Web applications; configuring Web applications on containers, using Kubernetes, Containers, and distributed systems; and designing, implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting, using Kubernetes and Docker Container Orchestration infrastructure.\u00A0\u00A0

  • DE performing Linux and Windows systems administration -- troubleshooting, security monitoring, and performance tuning Confluent Kafka Cluster and Zookeeper; configuring and scripting DevOps processes in Ansible tower, uDeploy, and Jenkins for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), using Groovy, Shell, and Python; and designing and administering Confluent Kafka.\u00A0
