Are you interested in leveraging your skills as a Technical Writer to work in cybersecurity and support projects that help DoD customers ensure their systems are mission ready?

What You'll Get to Do:

CACI has several exciting positions for Technical Writers in the Annapolis Junction area. Employer provided relocation package available, and there is also the potential for working out of a SCIF location in Northern Virginia, and other SCIF locations TBD.

In this position, you will work with a team of engineers who will analyze system architectures/designs and identify mission critical vulnerabilities to DoD weapons and/or space systems in network architectures. You will review documentation developed by the engineering team for readability and technical content and will help ensure the final product conveys the appropriate message to the DoD customer.

This work provides an exciting opportunity to work in the cybersecurity field and help ensure DoD customers have the right information to design new weapons systems and enhance existing weapons systems to minimize cybersecurity vulnerabilities.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

* Current TS/SCI with active polygraph will be required

* Experience in a technical, network or enterprise environment providing technical writing products for the government customer

* Experience varies based on level from six (6) or more years working as a Technical Writer

* A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (STEM) from an accredited college or university is required. Four years of additional technical writing experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree'

* For higher levels that require eight (8) or more years of experience, a Master's degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience

An ideal candidate will:

* Have experience reviewing long technical documents to ensure recommendations are written to avoid legal issues

* Have experience supporting programs that require legal review of documentation
