Role: Data Analyst/Analytics Developer
Location: Irving-TX-USA

Duration: Contract

Description:

Responsible for developing strategies for effective data analysis and reporting. Selects, configures, and implements analytical solutions. Develops and implements data analytics, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. Identifies, analyses, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets. Monitors performance and quality control plans to identify performance. Works on problems of moderate and varied complexity where analysis of data may require adaptation of standardized practices. Works with management to prioritize business and information needs. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, statistics, or other related field. Ability to manage multiple assignments. Superior written and oral communication skills. 6-10+ years of experience.

Digital team is seeking a Data Analyst (8+ years' experience) to help us develop our next generation of insight (SOI) platform who is highly talented and motivated with solid experience in Big Data tools and is experienced in developing data ingestion pipelines.

Requirements:
* Extensive experience in NO-SQL, SQL database, and Data Grid in Cloud environment: Cassandra
* Write high-performance queries to run on SQL and NO-SQL databases.
* Must be adept in development of high-performance queries to run on SQL and NO-SQL databases.
* Use statistical methods to analyse data and generate useful business reports.
* Work with management team to create a prioritized list of needs for each business segment.
* Capability to work with a team of data analysts to derive necessary information from data sets.
* Use data to create models that depict trends in the customer base and the consumer population as a whole.
* Organize data in a standard format that is quick and efficient to display graphically.
* Knowledge of tools like Tableau, ELK, and Spreadsheet to showcase data aggregates is a big plus.
* Be able to interview users to find requirements for programming, documentation and execution on those requirements.
* Recognize architectural improvements needed to improve APU Programming.
* Perform any query based programming or data consolidation related task independently and efficiently.
* Think strategically about existing or conceptual opportunities.
* Mentor and direct other programming staff members in a clear and articulate manner.
