Customer Service Representative

Our client in Southern New Jersey is a well-established wholesale fencing company looking to hire a customer service representative/inside sales representative. The client is a rapidly growing wholesale supplier of fencing products that has been in the industry for over 95 years. This individual will be responsible for maintaining and helping grow the client's customer base and help facilitate sales growth. This role will include the daily operations of the sales department as a whole.

Primary responsibilities will include processing orders, assisting the outside sales team as needed, assisting customers with questions regarding products, pricing, availability and product uses. This individual will also participate in new marketing strategies to build sale and customer relations, and service walk-in customers with answering questions and providing solutions.

MUST have excellent communication skills and strong computer skills.

Minimum of 2 years experience in the construction industry.

Minimum of 2 years customer service experience.

Wholesale environment background is strongly preferred.

Experience working with Sage accounting software (MAS 200) strongly preferred.

MUST have experience working with customers regarding product knowledge and pricing.

MUST be open to hand's on training to learn the company/industry in order to gain product knowledge.

Experience tracking and managing of a wholesale inventory environment is strongly preferred.
