The selected Contract Negotiator will support the Lockheed Martin Space Line of Business. Responsibilities include: - Providing contract management on a portfolio of highly complex contracts and proposals
- Support on-contract growth and new business captures
- Day to day contract administration
- Proposal preparation and review
- Customer relationship and functional support
- Ensuring contract compliance
- Identifying and mitigating execution risks - Exercise initiative, participate in strategy development, and work in an independent manner.
- Collaborate with Space Systems Company and Corporate support functions.
- Work directly with multiple customers on various contract types (CPAF/IF/FF, FFP, OTAs).
- Learn and develop advanced concepts, techniques, standards and solutions to complex problems, which require the regular use of a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation. Selected candidate will exercise initiative and independent action in support of LOB and functional goals. You must be able to effectively organize, prioritize and manage multiple assignments and priorities, and work effectively and independently in a dynamic environment. This position requires current clearance; TS and/or SCI; U.S. citizenship is required. Candidate will typically have a Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of directly related experience. Experience may be substituted for a Master's or JD degree. We are an equal opportunity employer and value employee diversity. Basic Qualifications:
- working with FAR, DFAR and other agency regulations
- managing and negotiating prime contracts
- preparing compliant proposals
- proactive administration of contracts - developing trusted partnerships with internal and external customers
- proactive problem identification and resolution US Citizenship required, and currently possess a US DoD TOP SECRET and/or SCI or other agency clearance, and successfully pass a drug and background check.

- Experience working with classified contracts and in a classified environment - Experience working with multiple contract types (FFP, FPI, CPAF/IF, OTA, T&M, IDIQ) - Problem-solving and analytical skills to support and achieve business goals - Desire to help grow the business and gain efficiencies to improve program performance
- Support learning and research
- Ability to thrive in a team environment and provide contractual support and guidance to other program personnel
- Experience building strong positive customer relationships
- Experience communicating across varied audiences, including written, spoken, and presentation preparation
- Ability to collaboratively interface with diverse disciplines including: Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Property, and Business Development
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with an investigation within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
