CNC Star Swiss Lathe Operator/Machinist
We are seeking an experienced CNC Star Swiss Lathe Operator or Machinist with a minimum of 3 years in CNC production operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our Star Swiss CNC lathes, ensuring a smooth and efficient manufacturing process. This role requires expertise in G-code programming, attention to quality standards, and a proactive approach to production efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain CNC machinery in the production area to ensure optimal functionality.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and perform routine maintenance on tooling.
- Check production output against specifications to maintain high quality.
- Report on machine performance, production output, and any required tooling changes.
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and suggest improvements.
- Follow all company standards and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in CNC Star Swiss Lathe operation.
- Proficiency in G-code programming and ability to read blueprints.
- Skilled in using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
- Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving mindset.
- High school diploma required; technical training in CNC machining is a plus.
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.
- 3rd Shift: Sunday - Wednesday, 8:00 P.M. - 6:00 A.M.
