Administer all credit and collection activity within assigned area of responsibility.


Major Responsibilities


Evaluates new customers credit worthiness, establishing credit limits and guidelines within assigned levels of approval. Establish Credit Limits by performing financial and payment history reviews to analyze the following but not limited to information: Corporate Description, Company Officers, Number of years in business, number of employees, payments within industry, UCC Filings, Debt analysis, Capital requirements and capabilities, Annual Sales, Net Profit, Current Assets, Total Assets, Current Liabilities, Long-term Liabilities, Equity, Cash Flow, DSO figures within industry, Cost of Capital analysis, credit references, and etc. Credit limit Authority $250,000.00 Re-evaluates existing customers credit worthiness to ensure credit lines are consistent with customers product requirements and financial capabilities.

Re-evaluates Existing Credit Limits by performing financial and payment history reviews to analyze the following but not limited to information: Corporate Description, Company Officers, Number of years in business, number of employees, payments within industry, UCC Filings, Debt analysis, Capital requirements and capabilities, Annual Sales, Net Profit, Current Assets, Total Assets, Current Liabilities, Long-term Liabilities, Equity, Cash Flow, DSO figures within industry, Cost of Capital analysis credit references, and etc. Credit limit Authority $250,000.00

Provide Analytical reporting to Greif Organization on the following but not limited to: Customer Leveraged Debt Analysis, Percent Current Trend Analysis by Customer, Percent Current Trend Analysis by Plant, Short Pay Root Cause Analysis by Plant, Short Pay Root Cause Analysis by Sales Rep., Short Pay Root Cause Analysis by Customer, DSO Trend Analysis by Customer, Customer Financial Group A/R Trend Analysis, Customer Credit Review Financial Analysis, Average Days to Pay Trend Analysis, Customer Exposure analysis. Additional reporting as needs and times permit.

Perform Customer Account reconciliations when needed to ensure prompt and proper cash applications.

Provides resolution to customer’s daily orders through credit blocked order management.

Takes appropriate action on collection and delinquent accounts managing individual portfolio to the established goals & KPI’s.

Maintains a cooperative problem solving relationship with customers, the sales organization and manufacturing to ensure for the prompt turnover of receivables.

Facilitate coordination of Bankruptcy proceedings & T.P. Collections / Litigation within their portfolio.

Assist customers with the following but not limited to payment methods: Credit Card Process through the BaaN System, ACH/EFT Transfers from Company bank, Wire Transfers, and etc.

Assist with Corporate and State Audits on the Accounts Receivable. Mid-year and Fiscal audits for Corporate reporting and State “Unclaimed Property”. Manage the creation and compliance of Payment plans & Promissory Notes within their portfolio.

Review with AR Supervisor each month to ensure compliance. Manage the creation and compliance of Individual and Corporate Guarantees.
