What You Will Do:
Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgical Specialty Suite
Full-Time – Day Shift
We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Specialty Suite at the University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus. The RN will be a member of the health care team and will provide patient coordination, direct patient care, and case management services for The Midtown Specialty Suite and its patients.
The nursing and support staff draw from their Med-Surg. Tele, Wound Care, and Critical Care knowledge and expertise to provide quality care to patients recovering from same-day surgical and medical procedures that include:
• General Surgery
In addition to clinical responsibilities, the RN will be involved in care coordination which will improve patient care in the community hence reducing readmission rates. With RN on board, providers will be able to increase volume hence increasing revenue.

When we say “our community” we mean it.What You Need to Be Successful:
- Currently licensed as an RN in the state of Maryland or eligible to practice under a compact license;
- BSN preferred (Associates Nurses with 1+ years of experience);
- At least 1-2 yrs. experience as in Med-Surg Tele, Wound Care and/or ICU in an outpatient and inpatient facility preferred.
