You can have a significant impact on our cultural transformation.   Port City Group, a division of Pace Industries, located in Muskegon, Michigan, is a multi-location, fully integrated manufacturer of aluminum die castings, zinc die castings, mechanical assemblies and injected molded plastics.  Our facilities include Port City Castings Corp., Muskegon Castings Corp., Port City Metal Products, Port City Die Cast, Port City Custom Plastics, Alloy Resource Corp, and Mirror Image Tool. Summary This position is responsible for successfully establishing functional relationships with customers and delivering exceptional service in a cost-effective and timely manner. This role is also accountable for delivering services in accordance with established project standards, and in the execution and delivery of other projects as assigned. The IT Coordinator will perform software implementations with emphasis on integration, configuration, installation and test activities. Duties and Responsibilities Proactively contacts end user during the implementation process to assess their satisfaction and fully utilize standardized tools and technology to support solution delivery.Consistently executes implementation process and methodology.Oversees accurate, timely and successful achievement of milestones through entire implementation cycle.Participates in project planning and/or facilitates efforts and ensures that assigned orders are accurately maintained and client interactions are documented in accordance with Pace standards and policies.Ensures timely internal communication to Sales, Implementation Management and Implementation team members and external communication to end user.Effectively manages assigned business through internal systems. Documents end user interactions.Assists with communication.Seeks client feedback on the products and service to ensure a quality implementation experience for the client.Provides feedback and suggestions on products, issues, processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and continuous improvement.Writes Business Requirements Documents.Consults on the installation of client site software and equipment and coordinates technical support to resolve issues.Consistently and timely communicates project progress or project plan modification to Project Manager.Participates in project plan schedule development, monitoring and reporting.Generates and maintains test plans.Validates and tests solutions according to test plans.Ensures accuracy of end user set up variables and calculations.Provides client support during User Acceptance Testing and production rollout.Provides feedback/ensures successful transition to a production environment.Ensures the successful "hand-off" to end user upon completion of implementation.Ensures products are configured and/or adapted to meet unique needs.Assesses training needs based on unique implementation parameters.Develops and delivers end-user training curriculum.Coordinates training to ensure that end users are scheduled to attend all appropriate training classes.Please note that the duties and requirements described herein are intended to represent general contents of this job. Education and experience Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four-year college degree, plus 3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Communication skills Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization. Mathematical skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Critical thinking skills Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of known variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats. Position Requirements: •3+ years of business to business client service interface or equivalent education and experience and basic project management skills. •3+ years of experience in a consulting or technical environment. •Bachelor Degree or equivalent in education and experience required. •Strong service orientation. •Positive response to changes in work environment or tasks. •Excellent written and verbal communication skills (persuasion, motivation). •Excellent analysis skills. •Strong relationship building/networking skills. •Able to confidently make decisions.
