Compensation: $12,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year

Our client located in Essex County is looking for a Manager of Compensation Accounting to join their team. Responsibilities: • Assist in leading monthly and quarterly financial close and forecast processes • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial results including the balance sheet and income statement • Detailed understanding of plan results and key driver • Developing implementation plans based on long term strategic goals • Creating presentations for senior management and the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors • Review and implement new accounting guidance as needed • Prepare materials and analysis for senior management for the quarter close and forecast and on an ad-hoc basis • Initiate and drive enhancements to current process and procedures • Review internal control standards to ensure compliance with external accounting policies and standards • Review disclosures included in the PFI 10K, 10Q and other regulatory filings • Manage and supervise staff including identifying staff development opportunities and providing feedback on performance results • Assist with SOX and MAR testing for the group Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance is required (CPA or MBA is a plus)
• 5 – 7 years of accounting, financial reporting and analysis experience
• Prior experience with public company executive compensation plans
• Strong financial acumen and thorough reviewing skills
• Ability to produce clear, concise, and insightful analysis
• Fully capable of managing multiple priorities
• Strong project management skills
• Works in a highly organized and control oriented fashion
• Strong communicator both orally and written
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Experience working effectively both independently and in a team environment
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across our key corporate functions
• Strong modeling and financial presentation skills
