Intake Specialist/Legal Assistant

What Matters Most:
- 1+ years of experience in a heavy client service and office support role required; background in a law firm or professional services environment is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat required
- Experience with case management and CRM systems a plus
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Your New Role: This boutique law firm is searching for an empathetic and adaptable Intake Specialist/Legal Assistant with a knack for multi-tasking and top-tier client service skills.
In this role, you’ll conduct new client intakes using a template of questions to assess prospective client needs and refer them to the correct attorney or resource. Strong client service, communication, and listening skills will be key. Additionally, you’ll schedule appointments, send and collect paperwork, run conflict checks, enter information into the case management system, and send invoices.
Competitive candidates will be excellent multitaskers with strong attention to detail and tech skills. Your workload will come at a steady pace, and you’ll have excellent training from your tenured colleagues. There may be room for growth after a couple years in this position.
This is an in-office position.
