Your role:

In your role as an Assistant Test Management Officer, you will support a variety of Department of Defense weapon systems programs within Redstone Test Center’s Environmental Component Test Directorate (ECTD), Joint Test Management Office (JTMO). 


What you’ll do all day:

  • Work as part of a team.
  • Assist TMO in design, management, and oversight of the Joint Test Management Office processes.
  • Lead Test Coordinators, Program Integrators and the JTMO Ammunition Test Coordinator.
  • Implement standardization.
  • Track status-to-plan.
  • Coordinate workload and align Test Coordinator skills to projects.
  • Work with staff to ensure GFEBS, ADSS, CIMS, and PMM resources are allocated and updated per the appropriate process.
  • Ensure oversight and accountability on A&E tracking and disposition.


Minimum requirements for this position:

  • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in project management, finance, business, engineering, or related discipline from accredited college/university and 6 years of experience in program finance or project management, including experience developing plans, budgets and schedules to meet project requirements; providing project status with regard to funding, schedule, and milestones.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience.
  • Experience in development and implementation of processes and policy.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Government security clearance.
  • Must be a US Citizen.


Desired skills and experience for this position:

  • Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Lean Six Sigma experience.
