Construction Equipment Sales Representative

Monroe Tractor & Implement Co. South Windsor, CT (On Site) Full-Time
The Construction Equipment Sales Representative is a professional sales position in which one is required to Rent and Sell Heavy Construction Equipment within the State of Connecticut. You will be required to establish long lasting customer relationships, assist our customer’s with Fleet management, and help resolve customer product issues. You will be expected to help increase the sales, profit and productivity of each customer by offering large capital construction equipment.   Since our founding in 1951, the industries we serve have been transformed by the technologies, equipment and capabilities undreamed of decades ago. But the people we serve haven’t changed, and neither have we. We’re still a family owned business, and we’re WBE-certified.  With 14 locations throughout New York State and New England, we’re growing and are looking for motivated people to join our team!   Benefits

Responsibilities
  • Establish Long Lasting Relationship with customer base
  • Be a Customer Liaison between customer and Monroe Tractor
  • Time management to accurately cover territory
  • Quote and review trade in equipment
  • Sell/Rent New Used Heavy Equipment
  • Work with PSR position to help to offer the total package of customer support
Qualifications
  • Highly motivated results driven sales professional
  • Advanced problem solving skills
  • Strong independent work ethic
  • Ability to achieve individual as well as branch sales goals
  • Excellent customer service skills; a builder of relationships
  • Clear and concise communications, good computer skills
  • A strong sense of urgency, focusing on time & territory management
  • Proven Industry sales experience important
  • Industry Construction Equipment Experience a plus
  • Good time manager
  • Customer Advocate
  • Multitasker
  • Self Starter & Self Motivated
