Facility: Catholic Health Home Care Location: Farmingdale, NY Department: Patient Accounting Category: Administrative / Business Support Schedule: Full Time Shift: Day shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM ReqNum: 6048555

Patient Accounts Representative Responsible for standard and advanced Home Care billing functions. Conforms to HIPAA and Corporate compliance policies and procedures. Maintains patient billing records. Reviews denials from payer sources and provides necessary follow-up. Demonstrates competency in billing under Medicare, Medicaid and HMO guidelines. Qualifications High school graduate with clinical and record keeping experience. Demonstrated experience in Home Care billing preferred. Computer experience with Microsoft office and preferably Allscripts. Excellent organizational skills. Other personal traits include: courtesy, discretion and professional manner. Must be detail oriented.
