A 200 Bed Central Oregon Medical Center is actively seeking a Director of Medical Staff Services.
The Director Medical Staff Services and Credentialing will report to the Chief Operating Officer, and will oversee the Medical Staff Department.
The Director of Medical Staff Services is responsible for managing the activities of the Medical Staff Office and is responsible for preparation, organization, hospital compliance, regulations and applicable accreditations.
The Manager of Credentialing Medical Staff will be responsible for daily operations of the medical staff office, including oversight of credentialing, privileging, bylaws and policy development, medical staff committee and peer review support, continuing medical education (CME), and compliance with The Joint Commission and other regulatory standards.
The Director of Medical Staff Credentialing will provide direct supervision to medical staff office employees and promotes communication and collaboration between hospital administration and the organized medical staff. The Director of Medical Staff Credentialing should have minimum 3 years of management experience the medical staff office setting with understanding of accreditation and regulatory standards related to medical staff functions.
