Seeking a Senior Accountant to become an integral member of the Accounting/Finance Team at an established and growing company located in Sacramento, CA   Full-time, Monday-Friday. Competitive salary $65K-$80K, DOE.   RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Journal entries - CAM recs - Accruals - Month-end close - Reconciliation; General Ledger, Bank, Account - Cash applications - Financial reporting and statement preparation - Expense reimbursement - Review Accounts Receivable (AR, A/R)  - Review Accounts Payable (AP, A/P) We are an equal opportunity employer and make hiring decisions based on merit. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 5 years of recent and progressive experience in a directly related accounting role Current working knowledge and proficiency in accounting software Bachelors degree (Accounting, Business, or closely related is preferred) SKILLS and EXPERIENCE: Strong understanding and working knowledge of GAAP and analytics Advanced computer skills, including a high level of proficiency and current working knowledge in Microsoft Excel (formulas, workbooks, pivot tables, etc) Self-starter who works efficiently alone and in a team Ability to work swiftly and accurately, excelled at meeting deadlines under pressure and multi-tasking a heavy workload Effective communication, both written and verbal, with a strong command of the English language Strong strategic planning, critical thinking, and analytical problem-solving skills Knowledge and practice of time management principles Excellent organization and follow-up skills Stable work history
