UI/UX Developer Seeking a qualified User Interface/User Experience Web Developer to support the Army Chief Information Officer located at Ft Belvoir. Qualified candidates must possess UX/UI design skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flow and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces. The Web Developer will be responsible to gather user and system requirements, illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps, design graphic user interface elements, develop UI mockups and prototypes, code and deploy production web sites from wireframes, and ensure sites developed comply with all federal website standards. Duties Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps Develop, code, and publish websites based on the wireframes and requirements of the customer. front end coding skills preferred(html, css, javascript) Code editor skills e.g. dreamweaver, visual studio code, atom, sublime, text, brackets, jet brains webstorm CSM (content management system) experience e.g. wordpress, drupal, snow, joomla, ect must have 1-2 skills in Figma,Adobe XD,Webflow,Sketch, or Axure RP (these are all wireframe tools) any will do Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design Create interactive Prototypes compliant with federal standards such as section 508 compliance Participate in requirements sessions with business stakeholders and end users of the CIO site Lead design meetings and collaborate closely with Product Owner, Business Analysts, and CIO resources Advanced knowledge of wire-framing and/or prototyping Well-organized and self-directed individual; ability to balance and prioritize competing requirements Excellent communication skills and analytical skills, ability and experience interfacing with general officers and SESs Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required Requirements * Active Secret Clearance
* 5 or more years professional experience in a related field
* Three or more years of experience in Army, DoD, or IC at the Headquarters, Department of the Army, or major command level (e.g. ARCYBER, NETCOM, 7th Signal Command, Program Executive Office, etc) or in industry implementing similar solutions
* Portfolio and sample code submission required
