We are currently seeking the services of full-time Software Engineer for our Business Intelligence team, working remotely as part of our Windsor, CT team. If you are dynamic, mature, ambitious, creative, and autonomous, you will appreciate working with our team of technology professionals committed towards producing superior applications for the Education Sector.
Responsibilities
Specific Responsibilities:

Plan, develop, test, document, and implement data solutions according to specifications and industry best practices.

Convert functional specifications into technical specifications suitable for database development.

Follow coding and documentation standards. Participate in code review process.

Collaborate with end users to troubleshoot data related IT inquiries.

Become a data expert. Produce complex, large exports of data with a large degree of accuracy and efficiency.

Analyze, review and alter T-SQL to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.

Implement complex queries and reports.

Provide necessary knowledge transfer to support and services organizations.

Continuously look for ways to improve effectiveness and efficiency allowing us to provide a higher quality product in less time.

Demonstrate high professional and ethical standards.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
-
Experience working in Microsoft SQL Server and the Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack (SSRS, SSAS and SSIS)

Knowledge of administration of SQL Server for transactional and analysis systems
-
Skilled at analyzing and working with large amounts of data.
-
Reporting experience in a range of reporting, dashboard solutions.
-
Understanding of software development life cycle and ability to perform activities throughout lifecycle: data analysis, design, development, configuration/customization and unit/user acceptance testing.
Required Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
-
2+ years hands on technical experience with MS SQL BI stack: SSAS, SSIS, etc.
-
1+ years of reporting experience
-
Cloud environment, preferably Azure
-
Power BI is a plus.
Compensation
Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $95,000 - $105,000k.
In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role.
