Job Description

Seeking a Junior Federal Accountant, who is interested in consulting, to join a growing dynamic team. We seek a proactive person with the ability to react with a sense of urgency and manage conflicting priorities, communicate effectively and to take ownership of work.

Analyzes and makes decisions on specific tasks requirements; Assists in monitoring and tracking specific project deliverables and milestones;Performs ad hoc tasks as required.
The candidate performs varied and difficult tasks under minimum supervision, conferring with supervisor on unusual matters. Assignments may be routine or may be broad in nature requiring originality and ingenuity; Provides technical knowledge and analysis of specific functional areas of expertise.
Provide support in the review and analysis of obligations and expenditures as well as support in the reconciliation of budget execution and budgetary resources.
Assist with monthly, quarterly validations and certifications. Attention to detail is critical.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (Accounting, Finance)
Specialized training in subject matter (Federal financial statements, budgets, reconciliation)
Two years of full-time professional work experience.
