Position Responsibilities:

Assist the Amyx Business Development and proposal team in the identification and capture of new Business opportunities in Defense and Federal Agencies.

Gain an understanding of Amyx Business goals and core competencies to support new Business Development.

Update the Amyx Business Opportunity Tracking Tool.

Research and identify new Business opportunities using GovWin, eBuy, FedBizOps and other available Business tracking programs.

Attend conferences, meetings and trade shows to identify new Business opportunities and promote company technologies and program experience.

Contact prospective customers and industry partners and schedule new Business meetings.

Support the Proposal Department through a variety of proposal functions to include: researching internal portal for content Development, past performance content Development, resume formatting and editing, editing proposal content, assisting with review cycles and additional proposal coordination support as needed.

Work closely with senior Amyx staff to identify new Business opportunities and coordinate responses to those opportunities by supporting capture and proposal teams.

Collaborate with senior proposal and capture team to respond to RFIs and Sources Sought

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

Minimum of 1 to 3 years Business Development or sales experience supporting federal sector, preferably with either DoD, DHS, VA, Department of Education, Department of State and/or Department of Transportation agencies.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years Business Development or sales experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
  • Understanding of Business Development and proposal development processes and procedures is helpful
  • Practical experience supporting either large or small Businesses in the identification and tracking of DoD, Federal and commercial market opportunities
