Job Description

CHENEGA WORLDWIDE SUPPORT   Company Job Title: Document Control Manager     Clearance: Secret Location: Baltimore, MD Reports To: Program Manager FLSA Status: Exempt, Full Time, Regular           Summary: The Document Control Manager will perform a variety of document control functions using an electronic document management system. Provide experience and familiarization with QA/Process Engineering staff, practices, and programs of the company.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)
  • Lead, implement and maintain document control processes and procedures in compliance with applicable Regulatory Requirements and Standards.
  • Manage the Change Control process by leading the Change Control Board weekly and ensuring all document and process changes are carried out correctly.
  • Determine if Document changes require specialized training, collaborate with training coordinator and other departments to ensure proper training is carried out.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining Training Matrix.
  • Handle daily resource planning with Quality Management for the assignment of workload to ensure documents are processed in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Change Order Initiators to ensure accuracy of the change orders.
  • Assist authors in tracking documents through review and approval process, as needed. Work with teams to ensure documentation is released on time.
  • Manage and maintain the Electronic Document Management System (QMS) and identify functionality that may further improve Document Management practices.
  • Identify areas to consolidate and improve content of SOP’s and Work Instructions to Ensure documents are updated as needed from CAPA findings.
  • Assist with Equipment and Calibration records as needed.
  • Support internal and external audits as needed.

  Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
  • Associate Degree of Science is required
  • 8 years’ experience required
  • 4 years with USACE project experience required
  • Experience in Network-based system, Quality Management Systems Software (QMS) & QAD.
  • Secret Clearance required
  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent business writing skills.
  • Familiar with best documentation practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to travel.
