Daily Responsibilities and Duties:

Respond to daily equipment trouble failures and assist in troubleshooting, evaluations and trouble reporting

Perform equipment downtime and trouble history and maintenance activity including preventative maintenance, overhaul

and replacement

Track equipment maintenance costs from parts usage, downtime and repair/maintenance manpower costs

Maintain equipment drawings, asset listings, spare parts inventory listings and department specifications for assigned

area

Maintain and PM all assigned equipment

Support the development of short term and long term countermeasures

Completing work orders

Support production activities during peak demand times

Daily tasks performed:

Production operation confirmation

Project work as assigned

Equipment troubleshooting

Problem analysis

Line calls and equipment failure recovery

Technical support to production

Reporting of daily activities

Preventative maintenance of equipment

Strive to reduce downtime by working efficiently and performing countermeasures aimed at root cause

Help manage and maintain spare parts inventory

Minimum Job Relevant Experience:

3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience

Minimum Job Relevant Knowledge:

Knowledge of Electrical and mechanical maintenance

Knowledge of PLC’s- programming and troubleshooting

Basic computer skills

Ability to read blue prints

 

Degree or Certification Required:

High School Diploma, 2 year Technical degree or equivalent knowledge and experience

Required Skills (Musts):

Flexibility and adaptability

Knowledge of PLC programming

Can read blueprints and ladder logic

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs

Desired Skills (Wants):

Willingness to learn

Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Ability to work closely with others, and work under pressure

Project management experience

Environment associate will work in: Office and production floor

Estimated weekly overtime: up to 5-10 hours/week some weekend work

Frequency and Duration of travel: 1 to 2 times/ year
