Position Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and result-driven individual to manage programs and strategic initiatives for the program. Reporting directly to the Program Director, the ideal candidate is an individual who is capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Key programs within this role include:
- Educational Workshops
- Mobile Vehicle Engagement Event
- Technology Demonstrations
- Partner Meetings / Site Visits
- Community Engagement Sessions
The ideal candidate will demonstrate behavior consistent with the vision, mission, and values of the company, and provide excellent support to both internal and external team members. Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for the successful development and delivery of high-quality programming. Contributes to the continuous quality improvement of the department by seeking and incorporating customer feedback and making a commitment to uphold quality standards. Promotes a positive work environment. Identifies areas for improvement in programs and other areas of responsibility and takes initiative to design and implement timely, appropriate solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate and correspond regularly with colleagues and external partners.
- Under the direction of leadership, plan/supervise current programss and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track.
- Participate in program meetings and propose improvements as necessary.
- Assist in the implementation and prioritization of programs based on organizational needs and goals.
- Facilitate the coordination and completion of programs on time within budget and within scope.
- Monitor and communicate the progress of all programts.
- Manage program-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary documents are current, properly filed, and stored. Prepare program data for federal reports.
- Draft program correspondences by preparing, writing, and reviewing memos, meeting minutes, and emails. Able to draft surveys and reports to maintain compliance with federal regulations.
- Initiates, coordinates, and executes planning, marketing/advertising, community engagement and event logistics.
- Work with vendors when needed.
- Conduct market research, gather information, and consult internal team prior to closing deals.
- Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations.
- Cooperate with marketing and PR to promote and publicize events.
- Organize facilities and details such as décor, catering, entertainment, invitee list, special guests, equipment, transportation and promotional materials.
- Solicits, schedules, and stewards volunteer support, including interns.
- Stay current on business issues, industry trends, and technology advances.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Experience writing, editing, and proofreading.
- 3+ years of experience with coordination of cross-functional teams and completion of programs on time within budget and within scope.
- Event planning and oversight. Budget planning responsibility.
- Strong computer skills - experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required; experience with Adobe Acrobat (creating/editing pdfs for marketing) strongly preferred.
- Business Acumen - understands and demonstrates an understanding of business, priorities, opportunities and challenges and external influencing factors.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Fundamental understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology

Education:
Bachelor's degree and two years relevant experience; or a combination of education and related experience (program coordination, program management, business operations, human resources and / or event planning)
Skills:
- Two or more years of experience managing and coordinating high-impact programs
- Ability to collaborate with departments to achieve shared goals
- Good time management, detail-oriented and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to think tactically, and creatively within a startup organization.
- Knowledge of program management principles and tools.
- Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Knowledge of Client Relationship Management tools (Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus)
- Capacity and willingness to accept duties with initiative and resourcefulness.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in a nonprofit or start-up environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to use technology efficiently, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Job Type:
Full-time: Monday through Friday. Occasional evenings and Saturdays may be required.
Travel up to 50% within Georgia.
Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000
