Administrative Assistant - Agronomy Part Time

Co-Alliance Cooperative, INC Conover, OH (Onsite) Part-Time
Co-Alliance Cooperative is seeking a seasonal Administrative Assistant to provide customer service and administrative assistance for the branch during the spring season. This is a seasonal position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following reflects managements definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.
  • Understands and can use SSI appropriately
  • Enters information into accounting data entry system
  • Maintains accounting department files and records
  • Applies payments to contracts in a timely manner
  • Monitors and maintains accounts receivables for tickets and contracts
  • Assists with accounts receivable process through correspondence and making appropriate calls as needed
  • Prepares customer invoices; reconciles customer accounts, etc.
  • Responsible for inventory procedures
  • Verifies and prepares contracts for mailing
  • Actively communicates with customers to adjust billing, answer questions, etc.
  • Researches problem invoices; interfaces with vendors, customer service team, and other appropriate staff to reconcile
  • Runs monthly reports as required to reconcile accounts
  • Prepares and posts deposits; balances deposits on statements
  • Answers, screens, and directs incoming telephone calls
  • Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, typing, and mailing
  • Assists with special projects as needed
  • Assists in onboarding of new employees

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, two years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Acute attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
