Description: Our client is currently seeking a Informatica Data Quality Analyst in Los Angeles or Virginia!

This job will have the following responsibilities:
  • Description: Basic Function The DQ Data Analyst (IDQ Analyst / Developer) is a key role responsible for developing and supporting an Enterprise data quality solution for City National Bank. This role will support the business in the ability to analyze and assess the data quality in the various data environments (Transactional, MDM etc.). This will be key in helping to support the Data Governance organization with actionable information to improve the quality and value of information assets Responsibilities IDQ Development 
  •  Responsible for full cycle development (designing, testing, deploying, and documenting the data quality procedures and their outputs) using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) 
  • Document at a functional level how the procedures work within the data quality applications. 
  •  Perform data load and mappings from source
  •  Responsible for migrating objects from IDQ to PowerCenter or other Informatica tools
  •  Responsible for deploying and validating objects to different environments for Scheduled , Batch or real time environment 
  •  Responsible for development of scheduling of Batch jobs and invoking of the jobs using shell scripts 
  • Responsible for standards when creating mapplets and code migration from development thru test. Business and Technical rules Management
  •  Partner with the Data Governance Office and business data stewards to provide summary results of data quality analysis, which will be used to make decisions regarding how to measure business rules and quality of the data.
  •  Execute and analyze Data profiling 
  • Develop and implement additional data quality monitoring based on requirements gathered from business units. 
  •  Provide Data Quality Scorecards, Dash-Boards and Ad-Hoc reporting 
  • •Providing recommendations for modification or creation of business rules based on data results 
  •  Implement on-going monitoring jobs 
  •  Aptitude to understand business challenges and offer advice on how to solve them with DQ Data Quality as a Service 
  •  Develop and implement additional data quality monitoring based on requirements gathered from business units. 
  • Managing and prioritizing a request queue for new data quality monitoring requests over new data elements, new data quality rules, and maintenance to existing rules. 
  •  Provide reports for data matching consult on pattern analysis and provide insight to data quality errors.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  •  5+ years of data analyst experience performing data profiling, data mapping, data validation, data manipulation, data analysis, use case, test cases, etc. preferably in a data-intensive financial company. 
  • •Minimum of 3 years of experience in years of hands-on experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) toolset 
  •  •3+ years' experience in defining and deploying data quality programs and tools on enterprise data quality projects Abilities, Job Skills and Knowledge 
  • •Detailed understanding of Informatica Power Center Components (Informatica Developer , "Informatica Power Exchange , "Informatica EDC” and "Informatica Analyst “
  •  •Knowledge of Informatica Data Quality standards, guidelines and best practices 
  •  •Experience in data profiling & data quality rules development using Informatica Data Quality tools
  •  •Proven experience translating business problems into actionable data quality initiatives 
  •  •Familiarity with current trends in Data Quality technologies. •Good knowledge on Data mapping experience - mapping data sources to and from multiple applications •Must possess good oral and written communication and presentations skills with the ability to lead meetings effectively •Experience in SDLC Process •Good understanding of data governance principals
  •  •Strong experience on data quality development process, issue management, and data remediation
