We are looking for bilingual individuals that are fluent in English and Spanish. Our residential treatment facility offers a wide variety of employment opportunities, full time, part time, and PRN (three shifts).   1. Must be at least 21 years of age.
  2. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.  
  3. Prefer one-year experience working with children and adolescents with emotional/behavioral disturbances.
  4. Must be able to perform all aspects of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention.
  5. Must be able to complete full CPR/First Aid and perform all required procedures. Walking; reaching; bending; pushing; pulling; lifting heavy loads (i.e., at least 50 pounds)
  6. Implement Individual Crisis Management Plan programs for assigned patients at the appropriate time.
  7. Ensure patients are appropriately dressed and groomed with patient input.
  8. Monitor assigned patients at all times.
  9. Carry out and document behavior modification programs and level system accurately that are individualized to patient.
  10. Monitor and chart patient behavior using specific and descriptive terms accurately (i.e., behavior changes, drug reactions, accidents, injuries, seizures, etc.)
  11. Must be able to prepare breakfast for patients.
  12. Must be able to complete full CPR/First Aid and perform all required procedures.
  13. Must be able to complete full Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) program and perform all required procedures.
  14. Provide care and/or conduct patient/resident interactions in a manner appropriate for the age, culture, and population being served.
  15. Follows all safety policies and adheres to all workers’ compensation program guidelines.

    Millcreek of Arkansas was founded in 1988 in response to the overwhelming need for services for emotionally disturbed and developmentally disabled children and adolescents in Arkansas. Since that time, we have provided quality care for the children of Arkansas, serving severely emotionally disturbed children & adolescents in a 111 bed Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) and developmentally disabled children & adolescents in a 61 bed Intermediate Care Facility for the Intellectually Disabled (ICF-IID).

    Millcreek is a privately licensed Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF), Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID), and Special Education School for children and adolescents between the ages of 6 and 17.
