Computer Based Training Specialist / Instructor

FAA MMAC Admin– Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

We have an exciting opportunity for a Computer Based Training Specialist/Instructor to join our team in support of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) Administrative Services in Oklahoma City, OK.  

Responsibilities:

• Provides assistance to the Division/Branch staff in the development, revision editing, and updating of course materials in compliance with established procedures.  In addition, provides hosting support for Virtual instructor-led training and assists with classroom set-up for in-person Instructor-led training.  May be asked to support of the division by assisting in the completion of special projects for various customers. 
• Establishes and maintains files for course hosting or revision work.
• Uses current software packages to support FAA all forms of instructional delivery and course revision work.
• Works in “team” environment and provides timely assistance and guidance to fellow team members. 
• Uses computer software to assist with revision of course lesson plans, student guides, training aids, and supporting documentation.
• Participates in meetings related to curriculum revision, development, and delivery as required.
• Hosting assignments will be coordinated with all relevant parties.

Experience should include the following subject matter: 

• Proficient online meeting applications, such as Zoom.
• Microsoft office applications, word, excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
• Prefer experience with Adobe Connect (currently used for the on-line classes). 

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education preferred, or Degree in English, and/or teaching experience (high school or adult education), min. of two years’ experience.
