This is a contract opportunity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following:
1. Develop a thorough understanding of brands, products, and production systems.
2. Map a process starting with the end result, then work backward to ensure the production process is efficient and has what it required to complete the orders.
3. Ability to collect/compile data from the system to match sales orders with what materials are available to product complete orders and prioritize by customer demand.
4. Collaborate with all the necessary departments
5. Resolve quality issues and map solutions to eliminate future similar problems. (Map / Define processes & solutions)
6. Communicate what is needed to complete current orders where quality or lack of material left them short. Reduce waste in the process.
7. Set priorities for work orders, organize inbound materials for assembly / production.
8. Continuous improvement for the planning and coordinating inefficiencies.
9. Create metrics to measure results and continually improve the process.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 1. Experience with production process and training in continuous improvement.
2. Proficient with MS Office products, especially Excel. Experience with MS Project is a plus.
3. Ability to learn and utilize our ERP system to retrieve and analyze data.
4. Good communication and organizational skills.
