Our client is a chef driven burger joint that uses a mix of local and artisan ingredients to make the most amazing burger you’ve ever had. They are a full service, upscale, 'small box' restaurant concept featuring a high energy atmosphere that appeals to a broad consumer base. They offer craft beers and local spirits.  Each unit does $4M in sales annually.

Position Overview & Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensured the quality and safety of food
  • Kept the kitchen clean, organized and well stocked
  • Maintained equipment and utensils
  • Trained and developed crew members
  • Promoted teamwork and created a great customer experience
  • Accomplished station’s goals
  • Monitored food waste and inventory levels
  • Resolved food quality issues
  • Developed a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew
  • Ensuring the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized

Position Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager
  • Proven customer service experience as a manager
  • Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
  • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
  • Acute financial management skills
  • BSc degree in Business Administration; hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus
