Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
  • Creating website layout/user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS practices
  • Develop/enhance database to meet requirement.
  • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
  • Create and maintain software documentation.
  • Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling website.

Requirements:
  • 1-3 years previous experience in similar role/industry
  • Proven working experience in web programming.
  • Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
  • Solid understanding of the following programming languages: PHP, Javascript, AJAX
  • A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.
  • Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented programming, and web application development
  • Proactive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • M.S. or B.S. in CS or equivalent
The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $66,000 to $115,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. Synopsys offers comprehensive health, wellness, and financial benefits as part of a of a competitive total rewards package. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
