Senior Accountant

Our client - a well known Food & Beverage Company based in Manhattan - are looking for a Senior Accountant to join the team. This is a temp to perm role, and the successful candidate must be immediately available to start a new role.

Client Details

Well known and well established Food & Beverage Company based in the heart of Manhattan. This role will be based in office on a hybrid schedule (3 days/week), and has the potential to be converted permanent within 6 months.

Description

If you have experience working in Food & Beverage or CPG, and have been instrumental in preparing an organization for their audit, our client wants to speak to you! The role will involve:

• Preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports
• Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts
• Coordinating with external auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations
• Preparing balance sheet schedules

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

- Minimum 5-6 years relevant experience

- Prior experience working in Food & Beverage industry (or CPG in general)

- Team player with strong communication skills
